Well, as you know we got to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day on Monday. Aunt Amy taught us about leprechaun traps. If you set a trap, you may be able to catch one of these feisty men in your house looking for gold on this special day. The kids were excited and went to work gluing fake gold to shoeboxes and covering them with rainbow colored glitter. Bryton especially loved the glitter and put a tons of glue and glitter in a huge pile in his box. If the video works, watch his diligence. We all know they love rainbows and gold. Makayla drew a few signs, but this one attached to the final trap set up was awesome! Notice the glittered credit card, Dad said, "If you put a credit card on there he'll think it's more free money."Well, Aunt Amy was right. We woke up and he used out bathroom and left green pee in the toilet. His hat got caught in Makayla's trap and a green and white scarf got stuck to Gavyn's tape. Unfortunately, he escaped with some money, but we are already planning for next year. Cayd was content to watch!

Yours turned out great! I tried to make out what Makayla's note said, but am not sure. Is it..."for Leprechaun free money...? Just curious. Can't wait until Haley starts writing notes like that.
That picture of Cayd has me laughing... looks like he's taking after Gavyn!! I tried to tell Johnny we should make leprechaun traps and he said that he thought it would scare Lila to tell her we were going to catch little men around my house. Then he was laughing so hard at your blog and told me what a great idea it was and we should have done it... go figure!! Totally cute though and I especially love Bryton's glitter!
