Soccer Days Are Over

We began soccer back the end of August. Both kids wanted to play and thankfully were on the same team. Practice wasn't always exciting, but the games seemed to keep their interest most of the time. Their Coaches Craig and Erin were great and very patient with our kids. The team actually did quite well, winning or tying almost every game. Makayla became really good at defense, she would stay in her position and run up anytime the ball crossed the middle line (I can't remember the technical word for the lines). Gavyn would play all out sometimes and lay down or sit down at others. Bryton loved to watch, yell at the planes flying overhead and kick soccer balls all around the sidelines. He can't wait until he gets to play "docor".
Everyone loved to be the goalie and hang from the goal...but the best part of all...they got cool trophies at the end with spinning soccer balls on top!
