Notches

Bryan has a new invention....NOTCHES.......

They are super-sized Lincoln Logs. After observing our kids play with their set for hours and days, he has been pondering how to make a large number on his own for months. It finally came to him one day at work. He went to work with free 2x4 scraps and this is the creation. The kids were able to earn Notches (our created name of the new block) by completing their chores. Now their imagination is the limit and Bryan's entrepreneurial mind is hard at work again.

Here is the kids' pet palace. If you know our kids, you know they are obsessed with animals. Since we refuse to get a pet dog or cat or any live mammal, they have to make do, and they do it very well, with stuffed animals.
Notice the integration of the Mardi Gras beads
Here is the stash of all the Notches he made.
To continue the pet obsession, Makayla's room has numerous pet beds around her room, in cardboard box stables, bed room slippers, under her desk and bed, in all parts of the toy kitchen. They have been there for months. Well, the other day she asked me to help her make a sign for her bedroom, "the pet shop," door. I gave her paper and she did the rest.
I'm an amazing spelling teacher, huh?

You are right, Bryan. Those are pretty cool. I am sorry I couldn't appreciate them when you were telling me about them on the phone. Now you need to take it to the next level and make some notches and cheese.

Oh yeah, brother. Market those things. Start selling them on Ebay or something. ROCK ON! Can you spend like a million dollars to have a set shipped to BFE Canada for my kids?
