The kids and I had a pretty fun day. I got to catch up on laundry and dishes while they played in the living room with all their blankets and stuffed animals and tents set up. They informed me it was their boat. Then they played outside in their new sand table and swing set with visiting neighbors a few times. This evening we headed over to their cousins house to play some more. We came home in time to eat, clean up and read for an extra long time tonight before everybody has gone bed.
B... is till trying to grasp the concept of having a new baby. We try to give him a doll and call it baby and show how to hold it and treat it gently. Well today he wanted to put a baby in the new carseat. He would pet the doll and then carried it around for awhile. Of course, he held it by its foot and tried to hit Daddy with it at one point as well, but usually he is pretty sweet.
Daddy is still working, he had to pause in the middle of his day to pull out his rotten baby tooth with pliers. He informs me it didn't hurt and he just saved us the $250 to pay a dentist by just doing it himself.
