So, if you live in Florida you have probably realized that we are gone, if not surprise, we are doing another APX (formally Apex) summer of selling security systems door to door. Rather, Bryan is selling and the kids and I are having a fabulous 2 month long vacation!
The Tile business slows down in the summer, although Bryan's guy is keeping things going. We decided why not go and make some good money and have a trip as well. We were in Fort Lauderdale for a week and have since moved to Augusta, GA and next week will move to Charleston, South Carolina until the end of August. We have never changed offices, but this was a new adventure. The kids are loving it! We have been to the pool every day (but Sundays), we have found some awesome parks, made new friends, visited a science center and gone to two different beaches. It really is an extended vacation for the family and Bryan is doing well too.
For those who don't know, Bryan worked for Apex for years, when we first were dating in Salt Lake, after we were married for years, all through college and 2 kids. We worked and lived in California for three years, Baltimore, Maryland, and then Arizona. Our last summer was 2005 in Arizona when I was pregnant with Bryton, before we moved to Florida. It is an amazing company and has grown tremendously. We'll see how this summer goes but are already considering next summer. Crazy how life goes!!!
